post Category: Screening Employees post postSeptember 12, 2009

I wanted to start a small business and was having trouble finding a lawyer who would help me get together the paperwork for a price I could afford—after all, starting a small business is not a cheap thing to do. I even searched online for a site where I could purchase a personalized document such as an employment contract, but they were as expensive as the lawyers. OSS Advocacy pointed me in the right direction with their straightforward and informational blog and I was able to find Real Deal Docs.

The site was simple to use and literally does have millions of legal documents that you can download and change to fit your needs. All of the documents were written by real lawyers at real law firms.

The best part is that an annual membership costs less than having a local lawyer draft one document. So I know that I’ll be able to not only create my Articles of Incorporation and business agreements but I’ll be able to come back when I get my first employees, and I’ll be able to create a consulting agreement and a nondisclosure agreement, as well as other legal documents WITHOUT having to pay again and again!

They’re easy to download, edit and print and I know that I can count on the information contained in them.  It’s easy to find the document you’re looking for too. You can easily browse by category or search by name—the searches are truly intuitive so you always end up where you need to go with time to spare.
